Solo

Solo travel in Japan

Travelling on your own, with someone in Japan to message along the way.

What we do for you

Easy to do alone

Japan is one of the easiest countries to travel alone. Many of its best restaurants are counters where a single seat is normal, the trains run on time, and the streets feel calm late into the evening.

We plan around that. We book counter seats where dining alone feels natural, choose places to stay where arriving on your own is easy, and arrange private transfers on the days with luggage.

Where a guide adds something, for a temple, a market or a first morning in a new city, we arrange one. During the trip, you can message us through the STAYGO app or WhatsApp if a plan needs to change.

How we plan it

  • Seats for one

Counter restaurants where a single seat is normal, booked in your name ahead of time.

  • Moves that feel easy

Private transfers on arrival and on the days with luggage, and clear directions for the rest.

  • A guide when it helps

A half-day or full day with a private guide, only where it adds something.

  • Someone to message

We are on the STAYGO app and WhatsApp during your trip, with hours agreed before you leave.
