TERMS OF SERVICE
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using STAYGO's travel planning services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
01.Our Services
STAYGO provides bespoke Japan travel planning services, including itinerary design, hotel and restaurant reservations, transport coordination, and 24/7 support during your trip.
We act as a travel service coordinator on your behalf. All accommodation, dining, transport, and activity costs are paid directly by you to each provider. STAYGO charges a planning fee only.
02.Booking & Payment
A 25% deposit of the agreed planning fee is required to begin planning. The remaining 75% is due 60 days prior to your trip start date. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. If the final payment is not received by the due date, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the initial deposit forfeited.
Payment is accepted via credit card or secure bank transfer. All fees are quoted in USD unless otherwise agreed.
Third-party costs (hotels, restaurants, transport, guides, experiences) are settled directly between you and each provider. STAYGO is not responsible for these payments.
03.Cancellation & Refunds
The 25% deposit is non-refundable, as it covers planning work already performed.
The remaining 75% balance is due 60 days prior to your trip start date. Once the final payment has been received, the full planning fee is non-refundable.
At the point of final payment, STAYGO will have made confirmed reservations with Japanese hotels, restaurants, and cultural venues on your behalf. These suppliers — particularly traditional ryokan and kappo restaurants — enforce strict non-cancellation policies that are beyond our control. The planning fee reflects both the work performed and the commitments already secured.
If you cancel before the final payment is made, only the 25% deposit will be forfeited. The remaining 75% will not be charged.
STAYGO is not responsible for cancellation fees charged by third-party providers (hotels, restaurants, transport operators). These are governed by each provider's own policies.
04.Changes & Amendments
We understand that plans change. Minor amendments to your itinerary are accommodated at no additional charge where possible.
Significant changes (major destination changes, trip extension, full re-planning) may incur additional fees, which will be agreed with you in advance.
05.Limitation of Liability
STAYGO acts as a coordinator between you and third-party providers. We are not liable for the actions, failures, or service quality of hotels, restaurants, transport operators, or any other third-party provider.
We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political events, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the planning fee paid to STAYGO.
06.Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your passport, visa, and travel documents are valid for Japan
- Obtaining appropriate travel insurance prior to your trip
- Providing accurate and complete information during the planning process
- Settling all third-party costs (hotels, dining, transport) directly with each provider
- Adhering to the booking and cancellation policies of each third-party provider
07.Intellectual Property
All itineraries, recommendations, guides, and materials produced by STAYGO are for your personal use only. They may not be reproduced, resold, or shared publicly without our written consent.
08.Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
09.Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the updated date noted at the top. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
